Must-see : « Geneva Lux light festival »

No plans for the weekend yet ?

From the 24th of January until the 2nd of February head out to see the lights of Geneva Lux festival, organized by the Ville de Genève to present creative art installations by local and international artists.

In total 26 works will be presented all over our beautiful Geneva. So, what are you waiting for? Wrap up in warm winter clothes and rediscover the city!

You’ll be able to spot the Anooki, two giant white characters popping up in various cultural areas of Geneva such as the Cornavin train station, Saint-Pierre cathedral, the ark of rue Henri-Fazy, as well as the Museum of Art and History or Place de la Madeleine. The duo imagined by Moetu Battle and David Passegand, represents eskimos from the far North and carry an ecological message: they travel the world because their ice floe is melting.

See you there?
