Hublot’s flagship store in Ginza, Japan, was the venue for a one-of-a-kind product launch that featured the participation of artist Takashi Murakami, a select group of guests, and a global livestream. Due to travel restrictions, the CEO of Hublot was unable to attend in person, and a virtual solution was devised instead.

To facilitate communication between the two locations, a translucent LED screen was incorporated into the stage design in Ginza. This screen allowed for the CEO’s inaugural speech, which was delivered from Nyon, Switzerland, to be relayed seamlessly to the audience in Japan. The use of this innovative technology enabled a visionary approach to live engagement, with Takashi Murakami and the audience interacting in a Matrix-style conversation from opposite ends of the globe.
