The Orchestre de la Suisse Romande (OSR) is a renowned Swiss symphony orchestra based in Geneva, Switzerland and founded in 1918 by a group of musicians who were inspired by the idea of creating a permanent professional symphony orchestra in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.

A special creative concept was set to engage and celebrate this unique milestone with families to commemorate the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande’s 100th anniversary. The aim was to ignite the curiosity of both children and parents, achieved through various interactive activities. Specifically, customized oversized books were constructed to showcase important milestones of the orchestra’s history, alongside a music wall that enabled visitors to listen to pieces composed by renowned classical musicians. Additionally, parents and children were encouraged to participate in an array of workshops, such as musical initiation, flower arrangement, and music conducting.

"To carry out this major project, we needed a framework, a setting that could accommodate our ideas for workshops, archives, etc., in order to share and reveal the world of classical music. A few working sessions were enough for you to fully understand our desires and successfully transform them. We were delighted with the spaces you proposed and the ideas you developed."
